Bei unserem ersten Besuch in Bamberg haben uns unsere Freunde, die wir in Tunesien kennengelernt haben, auch zu euch gebracht. Wir waren alle begeistert: Meine Tochter über ihre Nudelsuppe, mein Sohn und ich über unsere Klösse mit Soße, und mein Mann natürlich über euer Rauchbier. Er ist überzeugt davon, dass sich der wahre Genuss erst nach mindestens 5 Schlenkerla einstellt. Wir werden das testen, und wiederkommen!! Grüsse aus Emmendingen, die Münzens

The Schlenkerla beer is something special:After 4 or 5 of Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier I was able to speak any languages and for a Eacht Oberpfälzer it meens a lot.........

In May 2008 my wife and I made the pilgrimage to Aechte Schlenkerla that we had been planning for years. We always drink the Marzen at home in Canada. As soon as we walked into the stube a waitress plunked glasses down on our table...did not have to ask. The food was great, especially the haxe. The beer was vom dem himmel..so perfect in colour, smell, and taste. The Bamberg Bierfest was on, and we had all the varieties. But Aechte was and is the bestes in der welt ! On the third day I wanted a poster to take home, but the souvenier shop was closed, so the waitress went to ask the manager. Well, the manager turned out to be Mathius, the owner. He met us at our table and we had a nice chat (he had been in Canada), and I got the poster. Wonderful, wonderful experience. It was like going to rauch bier heaven and meeting the Great Man himself. Bier aficionados of the world, if you make one pilgrimage in your lifetime, go to Aechte Schlenkerla braurerie in Bamberg. Aechte essen, aechte bier, aechte gemutlicheit ! Geoff and Angelika

I love drinking Schlenkerla during the cold Philadelphia winters. It warms for the motorcycle ride home without making me ride "schlenkerla". Cheers!

It has been 30 years since I left Bamberg and the Army. The Schlenkerla and the Rauchbier were a special place and brew. I was amazed to find it in a New BevMo in Queen Creek, Arizona. It brought back feelings of some great times. I need to return to Bamberg. Exporting the beer, what a way to make peoples hearts yearn for the great city. Keep up this great tradition and heritage.

I was at your Brewery last October along with my buddy Steve and my brother Richard (who liver in Muenchen). I absolutely love your Urbock. After drinking gallons of Marzen at Oktoberfest, it was a much anticipated and delicious change of pace. I just found your Marzen and Urbock here locally (Phoenix) and am taking it to Dallas with me next week to enjoy with Steve. (RIght after we find something for the wives to do) Thanks so much and hope to visit again next year.

Das aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier ist wirklich ein Traum es hat was wirklich Einzigartiges. Hat man es einmal getrunken, will man es immer wieder haben. Danke für solch einen Genuss. Gruß an die Bierbrauer aus DD
